Cold frosty winter months can often present safety issues when ice forms on the surface of either tarmac or wet pour rubber safety surfaces making the surfacing slippery. Rock salt or traditional winter road grit is not a suitable deicer for wetpour safety surfaces, as it can leave white residue stains as well as being abrasive to the surface itself, potentially damaging the surfacing.
Wetpour De-icer for Playarea Safety Surfacing is a liquid deicer that is non-corrosive, non-toxic and non-hazardous. It is easily applied by a spray applicator or for larger areas a knapsack backpack sprayer and can even be applied before a frost preventing ice forming on the applied surface for up to 24 – 48 hours.
10 litres will treat approximately 500m² when used as an anti-icing application and approximately 250m2 when used as a de-icer.
