Welcome to Online Playgrounds - where imagination comes to life! We are an independent, family owned company who have been designing, manufacturing and installing our unique outdoor play and fitness equipment since 1992.  In addition we are the leading independent parts supplier in the industry, supplying spares for all major playground brands. 

Since our company formed over 25 years ago our team have been designing new wooden playground equipment, fitness trails and trim trails as well as being a leading distributor of maintenance free steel play and outdoor gym equipment.

Fully Compliant Playground Products

All of our products comply with the current safety standards. They are independently inspected after installation to ensure their compliance to EN1176, EN1177 and EN16630 and the regulations set out in them.

Here at our Head Office in Christchurch, Cambridgeshire we are proud to be a British manufacturer and exporter of Safalog™ wooden playground and fitness trail equipment.

We also provide a full multi brand spare parts service, operational inspections, maintenance service and indeed everything you need to ensure your playgrounds are safe and open to your community.

Our fitness trail stations have been installed all over the country and can also be found at many MOD facilities throughout the UK. Our product range also includes various street furniture, fencing, steel fitness equipment and safety surfacing.

We often supply unique projects, such as supplying the Commonwealth Games with Grasslok mats for the Lawn Bowls event, Climbing Strops for Brunel’s former passenger Steamship SS Great Britain, exports to United Arab Emirates, Play Parks for Tesco’s and more uniquely a double swing for a wedding ceremony in Spain for a couple to be married whilst sitting on the swing!

    Online Playgrounds is based on the family Heritage from agriculture in 1830 through to manufacturing outdoor leisure products today.  Trading for many years as Fenland Leisure Products we have recently decided to merge the two successful sides of our business under the Online Playgrounds umbrella.  However business sustainability, quality products, customer feedback and repeat business are still at the very heart of our business.

    All our products are manufactured on site using traditionally skilled craftsman whilst utilising the latest technology available. Using CNC wood production machinery driven directly from our CAD software guarantees a quality product time after time - ensuring you of precision manufactured components in your chosen playground equipment.

  • Installation Installation

    We offer a full installation solution with all directly employed staff. Our in-house managed installation team with years of dedicated knowledge of our products have the expertise to ensure your new playground is constructed to the required safety standards and on time. On completion of your new playground an independent post installation inspection can be arranged … providing you with the reassurance that our products and services have been delivered to the very latest standards of compliance.

  • Quality Material Quality Material

    By using only the highest quality timber we have developed Safalog™, a natural, recyclable, split resistant product - providing us the the confidence to guarentee our products for a minimum of 15 years.  Safalog™ is an engineered long structural glue laminated beam constructed from FSC certified slow grown Bavarian softwood. Once fully machined our Safalog™ is pressure treated with ACQ providing a long lasting low maintenance product.

    With Online Playgrounds and our philosophy, quality is second nature and within our control. With over 60,000 square feet of factory, warehouses and offices in Christchurch, Cambridgeshire we have a team of people monitoring all our processes.
