These fully welded 6mm stainless steel (AISI 304) short pattern straight link swing chains are suitable for either flat or cradle seats. They can be used for swing frame heights of up to 2.700m - please note all chains sizes are swing frame height. Please see the diagram at the borttom of the page for a guide to measuring your chain length requirement. Where frame heights are lower the suspension chain can simply be cut to attain the desired seat height.

Description

Flat seat chains are supplied complete with M8 eyenuts, washers and M8 x 25mm stainless steel button bolt ready to connect to standard flat seats. Cradle chains are supplied ready to connect to standard J hook cradle seat connectors. We recommend either our SW5 or SW29 range of swing hangers to be used with this range of chains. All swing chains are supplied as a pair and comply with EN1176.

All swing chains are sold in "Cross Bar Heights". When measuring a dimension should be taken grom the underside of the cross bar to the finished floor level.

For assistance when hanging your swing chains EN1176 states:

Minimum ground clearance at rest: 350mm (400mm for Type 3 and tyre seats)
No maximum seat to surface height
At onlineplaygrounds we recommend a maximum height of 635mm (from BS 5696) for both cradle and flat seats
