"On behalf of Ulceby Village Hall Association, we would just like to say the installation went smoothly and the children love the new equipment" Bridget Lee (Secretary)
Back in 2019 our team visited Ulceby in Lincolneshire to meet with the Village Association to discuss their vision for a new play park at the Village Hall. It was unanimously decided that the only part they wanted to retain from the previous playground was the lovely brightly coloured fencing, so we were given a free rein to design an accessible, progressive play park with mixed materials for all ages, a challenge we really enjoyed.
The association were delighted with our proposals, and, despite COVID 19 they managed to raise the money to complete the whole playground at once. Work started this summer and we hope local children are now enjoying their new facilities.
Accessibility is important so a Spinmee inclusive roundabout and nest swings formed part of the proposal. For toddlers there are jumbo and bird spring rockers and for older children the Zulu Explore Multiplay is a perfect addition, which is positioned directly in front of the road to encourage visitors. The Mayon Trim Trail with extra add ons suits all ages and abilities and the whole park is finished off with both Wetpour impact surfacing or Safagrass.
